Southern Queensland Sliders are excited to host a Reining Ribbon Show on 20 & 21 September at Burpengary Equestrian Centre – proudly judged by the highly respected Reiner Rod Osborne.
Whether you’re a seasoned competitor or have always wanted to give reining a try, this is the perfect opportunity to saddle up, have some fun, and enjoy a great weekend with friends old and new. 🤠✨
It’s also your last chance to collect high points before they’re awarded at our End of Year Celebration – so don’t miss out!
👉 All you need is a horse and a current SQS membership.

Slide to the Championships
Welcome to "Slide to the Championships!"
Mark your diaries and polish those spurs – the Southern Queensland Sliders will be at Burpengary Equestrian Centre for an exciting weekend of reining action on 12th & 13th July!
While this event is NOT a qualifier for the 2025 Oceania Championships, it’s the perfect lead-up and your final chance to prep and shine before the big one. Whether you're chasing a high point, building confidence, or just love the ride – this show has something for everyone.
With classes for all levels, sanctioned and non-sanctioned events, and the whole weekend judged by NRHA-accredited judge Jessica Watson, it's going to be two days of great competition, camaraderie, and classic SQS vibes.

This is your FINAL opportunity in Queensland to qualify for the 2025 NRHA Oceania Championships! Whether you're chasing that last qualifying run or just want to come and be part of an awesome weekend of reining, this is the place to be.
